A treatment is a written depiction of a writer's imitial development of key characters, plot, setting, and other aspects of a film. A treatment is used to pitch a film to prospective actors, film crew, and investors. This creative writitng form should communicate all important scenes in a style that evokes the time of one's film. Students will learn how to develop their imagination and ideas into tangible mediums. Students will also explore various styles and formats to emotionally connect with audiences. I will also provide sources and explain the importace of Writers Guild Association and getting your idea registered.
